Ljuba Batembergska
Ljuba Batembergska is a sociologist, youth and minorities expert.
Ljuba graduated Political Studies at the University of Sofia and Advocacy in International Affairs in Geneva. She has been working in a number of projects for social inclusion of Roma and poverty overcoming in the most disadvantaged areas in Bulgaria as Advocacy Officer.
As a coordinator of UNICEF’s Child friendly cities program in Bulgaria, she has assisted local governments in child policies and has mainstreamed child participation in decision-making and in city life. She develops as well learning materials for children and delivers non-formal workshops for kids and youth. Before entering NGO-sector, she has been working as reporter and political editor. Lyuba is passionate about travelling and working with people.
